Onsite Education:
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, onsite services are arranged for some projects, depending on location and travel considerations.

Teleconference:
The miracle of technology allows you to bring Barbara to your staff via a live teleconference. This approach to staff education and training has proven effective, with the same opportunities for interactive discussion, resource sharing, and demonstration.

Benefits of Teleconference Format:
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, all courses have been revised to accommodate a virtual platform via Zoom teleconferencing. Prior to the pandemic, onsite education was generally limited to staff scheduled to work on the day the education was offered. As such, the message often wasn’t communicated to all staff, complicating the facility’s ability to be consistent in the provision of care and service.

In some cases, the limits were greater, with only a small group of select staff participating in a train-the-trainer model. Successful implementation of the concepts and practices taught in the classroom relied on the ability of that distinct group to sustain the project. In many cases, the initial accomplishments waned over time due to both a lack of consistent structure and oversight, and staff turnover.

The teleconference format allows for both the train-the-trainer program and live education for all staff. Live sessions are scheduled on all shifts and recorded for later on-demand viewing by staff who were unable to participate in the live session. Staff is also able to join the live sessions via their smart phone, tablet, or laptop, reducing the need to gather people in a central location. Recorded sessions can also be archived and utilized as part of new hire orientation and annual education.
